The Village of Arroyo Grande hosts several festivals; including the Strawberry Festival on Memorial Day weekend, which brings in 150,000 people and is growing each year; and the Harvest Festival and Parade, held on the last weekend in September; on the last Saturday in July, The Arroyo Grande Valley Car Sho, one on the largest car shows on the Central Coast, exhibits more than 300 cars on display.
